Product Overview

The gate bushing is a critical standard part in the injection mold. It is installed on the fixed mold plate (or hot runner plate) of the mold and directly contacts the nozzle of the injection molding machine. It is the primary channel entrance for the molten plastic to enter the mold cavity from the injection molding machine barrel, and plays a key role in guiding, sealing and initially molding the plastic melt.

Core functions

1. Melt guidance: Provide a smooth and smooth inflow channel for the high-temperature and high-pressure molten plastic ejected from the injection molding machine nozzle, connecting the injection molding machine nozzle with the main channel of the mold (or the entrance of the hot runner system).

2. Sealing and overflow prevention: Its spherical concave pit is precisely matched with the spherical surface of the injection molding machine nozzle to form a reliable seal to prevent high-pressure molten material from leaking during the injection and pressure holding stages.

3. Initial molding: It forms the starting part of the main channel, and its inner hole size and shape directly affect the initial state of the melt flow.

4. Positioning and support: Provide accurate positioning reference for the injection molding machine nozzle, ensure that the nozzle center is aligned with the mold main channel center, and withstand the pressure applied by the nozzle during injection.
5. Protect the mold: withstand the impact and wear of the injection molding machine nozzle and protect the expensive mold template.
